The Glen is seeking a Part-Time Courtesy Officer to work weekends and holidays!

SHIFT: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Weekends, and most holidays with some availability to fill in for co-worker’s time off)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Observe for fire and safety hazards or violations of fire and safety regulations and policies and makes regular rounds to help maintain the safety and security of residents, visitors and staff. Directs visitors during tour of duty and responds to residential residents’ emergency call lights.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be people-oriented individual, have good communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- Prior experience as security officer desirable.
- Flexible hours & must be able to work overtime as required.
- Well organized and self-motivated.
- Computer skills appropriate to job functions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to fulfill job requirements in a high-energy, high-traffic area.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 90 pounds.
- Extensive walking, bending, sitting, reaching, stooping, pulling, pushing
- Exposure to inclement weather on outside rounds, with possibly significant changes in temperature for brief periods.

Compensation: $14.00 per hour
