The Glen Retirement System is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk with strong time management and organizational skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Accounts Payable for all facilities, including but not limited to:
- Input all invoices into software program for payment processing
- Maintain W-9’s and Certificates of Insurance for all vendors
- Prepare sales & use tax for all facilities
- Prepare 1099 forms at year end

Assist with billing:
- Make bank deposits using Express Deposit software
- Post deposits in financial software
- Reconcile and bill ancillary charges
- Maintain office supplies
- Assist Staff Accountant and Controller with special projects.
Other related projects, duties and responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be people-oriented individual, have good communication skills, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- Well organized and self-motivated.
- Experience with Business Central is a plus
- Computer skills appropriate to job functions (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)
- General administrative and clerical skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to fulfill job requirements in a high-energy, high-traffic area
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 90 pounds.
- Extended periods of sitting, walking, standing, typing, bending, reaching
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
